I sing of freedom
By dawn’s early light,
And give thanks for my home.

None but God
Sees His work
All at once.
Frosted peaks
Crack the sky,
Oceans dance
East and west,
Deserts bathe
In sunset,
As crops pour
Over plains.

Liberty:
Hear it ring.
I can sing
My own tune,
Not compelled
To agree
With others.
I can choose
My own words.
But do I
Speak the truth?

I can’t be
Free indeed
Till I take
Christ’s strong hand.
I submit
To His plan;
His constraints
Open doors.
Liberty
Found only
When I die
To myself.

One day I’ll sing of freedom
By God’s Holy Light,
And thank Him for my home.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17 (ESV)

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1 (ESV)

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 (ESV)
